Hess started young on an ocarina. He then traveled to Nepal where
he studied under the strict rule of sherpa master Manga Negale.
There in the highest mountain he found a sax made from the arm
of a yeti. This sax he still plays today. Some say it emits a
sound at night when it yearns for its original master. But its
original master lives in Cleveland, and cannot hear that far.
